What I liked
They work REALLY well with students and their class schedules. You basically just pick your hours.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have had more career relevant work. But that is partly my fault for entering security and not finance.

This is a great company that cares about their workers. If you are looking for a job, they would be a great place to work.

Better starting pay (they do guaranteed annual raises though), and more training opportunities.
Advice
I would definitely recommend applying for a job at SDL. I made a lot of friends and learned a ton while I was there.

SDL truly cares about their employees, even though I am just a student they treat me just like any other employee.
They are very flexible with schedules in order to accommodate classes.
What I wish was different
I wish they would pay their students better, students are only allowed raises once a year.
Advice
Work hard and you will get noticed. I started in one position and quickly got recruited to work elsewhere within the company.

There were many opportunities to have exposure in different areas. I could work on my own without being micromanaged. I participated in a couple real projects that I can apply to my resume and coursework.

I would've enjoyed more involvement from management. Sometimes it felt like I didn't have anything to do, but that didn't last for long.
