I learned an abundance of information pertaining to my major and professional career trajectory. I also conducted extensive networking and therefore met many individuals who can validate my capabilities as an engineer.
What I wish was different
Any learning is beneficial, so I do not wish any difference in the experience I gained.
Advice
My best piece of advice is to trust and believe in yourself. Although it is daunting to enter a new space and have your performance judged, gaining an internship in your desired profession is the best advancement you can make for success after education.

What I liked
I liked the technical aspect of this internship in which real-world applications of civil engineering were put to use.
What I wish was different

Advice
I would encourage other students to also apply for internship positions despite thinking that they're not qualified enough to land the job, sometimes an eagerness to learn is all it takes.
