The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water has an opening for a Water Resource Control Engineer in the South East Section of the Southern California Drinking Water Field Operations Branch. The position is for the Riverside District located in the San Diego office at 2375 Northside Drive, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92108.

 The incumbent will work under the close supervision of a Senior Water Resource Control Engineer on a team providing regulatory oversight of the California Safe Drinking Water Act to approximately 65 public water systems in Riverside County. The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering work related to public water systems.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
