Computer/Electronics Engineer

The selectee of this position serves as a computer or electronics engineer in the Digital Flight Systems Section in the Spacecraft Engineering Division of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).  This position has responsibilities including hardware description language (HDL) design for field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and embedded software design for system-on-a-chip (SoC) devices; implementation of processing algorithms on FPGAs and SoCs that may include machine learning, signal processing, and vision processing; and design of circuit card assemblies and electronics boxes for space flight hardware.
