Order and Accounting Processor

The Chariot Group is recruiting for a Order and Accounting Processor Anchorage office. The incumbent will be a part of a hard-working, collaborative and focused finance/accounting team and will be responsible for performing work order and case management activities and accounting functions. 

Typical duties will include tasks/duties such as:

 

Work Order and Case Management

  • Initiate the work order/case management process by gathering a variety of information from sales and design teams regarding equipment, supplies, estimated man hours, etc. 
  • Create and deliver work and/or purchase orders.
  • Utilizing case management software, monitor work completion, shipments and delivery of equipment and supplies, etc.
  • Match work and/or purchase orders against vendor and manufacturer invoices and initiate reconciliation when needed. Keep/organize records accordingly.
  • Initiate work order/case close out process.

Accounting and Data Management

  • Perform customer/vendor data entry and data management duties to ensure thorough, accurate and up-to-date information in the company’s software platform.
  • Enter financial transactions and reconcile as needed. This would include accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Support the execution of efficient timekeeping and payroll activities.
  • Prepare financial reports as needed.

Administrative

  • Process emails in company distribution groups accurately and timely. This includes printing items that Accounting requires, forwarding items to other departments and flagging those that need immediate attention.
  • Perform database pricing entry and data management in various software platforms.

We are willing to train and mentor the ideal candidate provided they have at least two years of work order/case management or accounting experience that includes performing and/or auditing financial transactions. An Associate’s Degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or similar will substitute for the experience.
