Financial Advisor Development Program - TX - July 2024 Start

If yes, we’re looking for someone like you to join our July 2024 Training Program that will prepare you to become a financial advisor. 

 

The UBS Financial Advisor Development Program will offer you the opportunity to:

  • develop a strong foundation in customer service, product knowledge, financial markets, financial planning, investment strategies, consultative selling, and wealth management solutions through interactive training sessions, live client interactions, and ongoing learning & development opportunities with experienced leaders
  • grow professionally throughout an extensive and structured paid Financial Advisor Development Program
  • build and deepen relationships with our existing client base by providing them with an exceptional client experience
  • acquire your Series 7 & Series 66 FINRA Licenses
  • obtain your Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the standard of excellence in financial planning, as part of our tuition reimbursement program
  • launch a successful career in a growing wealth management business with strong earning potential and career advancement

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • identify opportunities to create more holistic client experiences
  • promptly handle inbound calls and effectively service client needs
  • manage all appointments and outreaches as assigned
  • deepen existing client relationships by conducting discovery conversations and making suitable investment recommendations
  • analyze complex financial situations utilizing UBS’s digital and financial planning tools
  • lead financial planning conversations with confidence
  • implement financial planning solutions that support our client’s goals
  • adhere to compliance and operational procedures and requirements to protect our clients

 

Your team

The UBS Wealth Advice Center (WAC) is a team of wealth management professionals dedicated to providing financial solutions and quality advice and guidance to affluent clients. At the WAC, we combine our digital tools with highly trained FAs to offer an industry-leading hybrid digital advice model. Founded in 2007, the WAC has developed into a national platform that delivers advice to 200k+ clients, with over ~$18B in AUM. The WAC is committed to building a culture centered on equity and inclusion by deliberately cultivating a diverse team. By creating an inclusive and diverse environment, we more effectively represent, understand, and provide for our clients. At the WAC, we emphasize education and expertise, this is why many of our FAs hold or are pursuing the CFP ® designation. We are a dedicated team of ~400 professionals determined to help investors face the future with confidence.

The UBS Wealth Advice Center leadership team supports career advancement and internal mobility and will help guide you in your career journey at UBS. All new UBS Wealth Advice Center employees must commit to staying in the WAC for a minimum of three years before becoming eligible to transfer to another role internally.

 

Qualifications:

  • you will need to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2024 graduates welcome
  • SIE required 30 days prior to joining UBS
  • Series 7, and Series 66 will need to be obtained within 180 days of employment (Series 66 may be completed prior to start, highly recommended)
  • background in business administration, wealth management, financial planning, or finance (preferred)
  • completion of coursework on financial planning through a CFP Board Registered Program (preferred)
