The Opportunity
Marvell is a leading provider of innovative storage technologies, including ultra‐fast read channels, high‐performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) and solid‐state drive (SSD) electronics markets. Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems. College grads welcome to apply!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop the verification environments in UVM.
  • Work with architecture team and design team to understand the system level functionality of different components.
  • Work out verification plan from the top level and simulate the design with randomized circuit parameters.
  • Report verification coverage of design features and parameters. Run regression tests and report performance.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data storage verification environment.
  • Set and review test plan with architecture team and design team based on the specification of the project.
  • Collect the coverage information from the test bench to reach 100% coverage. Maintain regression and debug the failures in simulation environment.
Requirements:

  • BS EE or Computer Engineering and 2 years experience or MS EE.
  • Using SystemVerilog to use aggregate data types, randomization, and process control to write test bench.
  • Using UVM to build or maintain verification environment with UVM transactions, sequences, and drivers.
  • Simulation tools, such as VCS, Questa, or Xcelium.
  • Debugging tools, such as Verdi, SimVision, or Visualizer.
  • Functional coverage, including writing coverage code, collecting coverage data, and extract information from coverage database (UCDB or VCB).
  • Verifying logic design of digital circuit, especially machine arithmetic circuit.
  • Scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, or Python.
  • Using UNIX/Linux operating system.
