Project Application Software Engineer 2023 - Cincinnati, OH
As a software engineer at you will take ownership of high-stakes projects from day one. You will be a key part of our software development team and grow your skills while developing innovative solutions. Your contributions will help to maintain our market position as the world leader in IoT solutions for smart lighting and shading systems. By working in a collaborative environment, you will be exposed to, and trained by, industry experts who will aid in your professional development.
You will be responsible for many phases of the product development process, including:
- Software review meetings
- Requirements gathering and estimating features for the next release
- Pair programming
- Software review meetings
- Demoing the latest features to stakeholders
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of consumer products that will end up directly in the hands of our end users. There are a variety of technologies throughout the product lifecycle that you could be involved with from day one, including:
- IoT systems
- Distributed cloud services
- Data science and machine learning algorithms
- Web applications and mobile apps
- Exposure to C#, Java, Swift, Python, Golang, AWS, and more
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0
- 0-3 years’ experience in a related field
