IT Support Engineer

The Role

Responsibilities
  • Be able to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees.
  • Ensure uninterrupted operations of business-critical systems such as Fab systems and applications.
  • Assist colleagues across the organization, including remote employees, with IT difficulties.
  • Be responsible to cases tracing and follow-up from user or system alarm notifications.
  • Evaluate resolutions and determine proactive measures to preempt future issues.
  • Develop the smart monitor systems to auto-detect, diagnose and recover the systems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related IT field, such as computer science, MIS, mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experiences.
  • Prior IT experience or similar technical function is a plus.
  • Language skill such as Python, Go or Node.js, or scripting is a plus.
  • Be willing to take the challenges and changes.
  • View problem solving as an opportunity to improve the systems.
  • Embrace automation over manual effort.
