Industrial Engineer - Production Supervisor

As a Fiserv Production Supervisor, we will train you on how to manage/operate a fleet of commercially rated equipment in a production environment, as well as, how to manage workflow and staffing to achieve daily production targets. Additionally, you will carry out various tasks by coordinating associates to meet/exceed the projected production deadlines and apply your Industrial Engineering approaches to foster continuous improvement for our company and our clients.

What does a great Production Supervisor do?
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the efficient performance and training of staff in all phases of encoding to ensure standards of quality, credit card processing and all associated activities. You will supervise a Production team in a fast pace, secure, and deadline driven environment. You and your team will be supporting production for many of the largest financial institutions, loyalty programs and healthcare providers in their respective industries. In this hands-on supervisory role, you will oversee areas of production such as Embossing, Inserting and Printing machines, card track system based on guidelines. You will also assist your team in continually enhancing production processes to ensure the delivery of world class service to our clients. Manage the production workflow to ensure deadlines are met. This includes making necessary adjustments to staffing and equipment utilization to meet deadlines. Manage quality at the source with focus on ensuring the team is following all processes and procedures. Participate in planning meetings to determine the scope and objectives required to meet daily production schedules. Develop the production team to increase productivity, knowledge and achieve the highest quality for our customers. Monitor KPI metrics and report on them daily

Basic qualifications for consideration:  
• Minimum-Associates Degree in Industrial management or related is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent, is required with 4-6 years of direct experience with 1-3 years in management.
• 3-5 years of mail processing experience (1st Class and Marketing)
• 5 years or more of management/supervisory experience
• Scheduling and planning skills
• Self-motivation to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
• Associates Degree or some college experience
• 5+ years management experience
