Electric & System Engineer

1. Quality Control Analysis
As our Quality Control Engineer, the candidates will be largely responsible for ensuring consistently high quality of our TFT LCD Panel and LED products to ensure smooth, seamless supply to our customers. It would be one of the primary responsibilities to ensure equipment and operators are producing conforming products to internal and external quality standards and product specifications. More specifically, our TFT LCD Panels, which consist of multiple layers of polarized glass, such as nematic liquid crystals, polarizing film, and polymers, will be tasked to drive overall quality system development to deliver scalable products and review product/process documentation and specification documentations to ensure alignment with process capability and yield target. Utilizing the specialized knowledge of electrical engineering test development and validation, the candidates will be required to run the test equipment and analyze the results and perform necessary experiments. Also, our Quality Control Engineer needs to adhere to our production and inspection schedules and meet customer ship dates. Also need to ensure materials are properly handled, stored/segregated, labeled, and transported to maintain cleanliness and defined quality attributes.
These duties will comprise approximately 60% of the workweek.
 
2. Raw Material Defect Analysis
Additionally, in the process of quality inspection, our Quality Control Engineer must ascertain whether or not faulty raw materials cause the defect. The candidates will be required to select and utilize the proper analytical techniques to support our production platforms and incorporate and analyze analytical data to timely detect the defect due to raw materials. In doing so, the candidates will be required to validate and document engineering analytical methods utilizing the specialized understanding of the structure of LCD panels and LED displays. These duties will comprise approximately 20% of the workweek.
 
3. Electrical Inventory Management
Furthermore, the candidates will be responsible for maintaining an accurate electrical components inventory to facilitate the effective running of our business. The candidates will need to manage our inventory control system to maintain our inventory balance, replacing inventory at a steady rate consistent with its depletion rate. Also, it is essential to balance inventory stock levels to reduce waste and minimize the risk of damage to that inventory stock. The candidates will be in charge of ordering and procuring chemical inventory, including raw materials, and maintain, operate, and oversee all aspects of the loading docks, including proper and timely documentation. Our Quality Control Engineer’s role for effective inventory control would streamline our production processes and help identify problems, thereby helping to improve our quality control system. These duties will comprise approximately 10% of the workweek.

4. Customer Communication and Assurance
Lastly, on our TFT LCD Panel & LED products already delivered to our customers, our Quality Control Engineer would need to communicate with our customers if there would be any defects due to faulty raw materials. Serving as the main contact point for customers to discuss all process, field return, and repair issues related to raw material defects, the candidates would be providing support to validate quality issues and determine responsibility for defects. It is critically important for our Quality Control Engineer to ensure that our customers have the necessary methods and processes in place. Our company maintains compliance across any required standard and consistently meets the defined product and process specifications. Relying on his understanding of our LCD & LED products and quality control production process paired with his specialized knowledge in the electrical engineering discipline, The candidates will take charge of regularly communicating with customers to provide corrective actions for customer complaints related to quality and participating in periodic quality meetings with customers to discuss quality trends. Also, he would need to train and educate third-party vendors to arrange audits or rework for defective prevention in the customer process. These duties will comprise approximately 10% of the workweek.
 
 
 Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess written and oral proficiency in English and Korean.
