Position Summary:
The Marketing Intern position provides an energetic and driven individual the opportunity to learn from and work alongside seasoned marketers and sales representatives in the exciting field of education technology. The Learning.com Marketing Intern is creative, solutions-oriented and able to work collaboratively to achieve goals. They are an enthusiastic team member, willing to pitch in on anything and everything, from small tasks to strategic projects. Working closely with the Marketing Project Manager, the Marketing Intern will be part of a small, tight-knit team but have access to a host of industry-standard technology resources and tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage marketing calendar, keeping it up-to-date with upcoming events, conferences and webinars; document results of past events.
  • Manage conference, event and webinar logistics including, but not limited to, invoice processing, virtual booth set-up and coordination, submittal of assets, ad and content preparation and staff registration.
  • Manage website updates, including events and news section.
  • Draft, schedule and monitor social media posts; develop and manage social media campaigns and live events on channels.
  • Update YouTube and Vimeo channels with new content, archive historical content. Review accessibility of videos, including updating captioning.
  • Update monthly marketing report with relevant analytics and data.
  • Conduct in-depth marketing analytics reports as assigned.
  • Work with the VP of Sales on specific projects for Marketing and Sales.
  • Monthly budget reconciliation of actuals to proposed expenditures
  • Other duties related to marketing, sales and administration as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Some college experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot preferable.
  • Interest in the marketing field; completed or in-progress college-level coursework in marketing and/or business preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media and internet research.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail including ability to document and communicate details effectively.
  • Self-motivator comfortable working autonomously.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Team player with strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:
Work involves talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
