New Graduate Civil Structural Engineers

 Purpose:
This is an entry level position for New Graduate Structural Engineers to primarily support the New Energy projects as part of the Power Generation group. As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the perspective engineering departments, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and our customers in some or all the following activities:

  • Deliver engineering services that meet Worley, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

  • Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;

  • Assist with and contribute to the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports, services will specifically include, but not limited to, equipment sizing, load lists, single lines, load flow, equipment layout, area classifications, schematics, data sheets, material/quantity take-offs, and code review.

  • Communicate effectively with the Civil, Structural, Architectural Mechanical, or Electrical, engineering teams and project stakeholders, including the customer.

  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.

  • Participate in internal review meetings.

Other duties as directed by supervisory personnel.
Experience and Qualifications
 Required Disciplines and Education:

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Piping Design and/or

  • Structural Design with an emphasis on Civil

  • EIT Certification is strongly preferred or the ability to obtain within 1 year

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, driven with a passion for problem solving and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an integrated team and a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Competent oral and written English communication skills.

  • Knowledge of the fundamental requirements as designated for your respective engineering degree.

  • Developing skills in related engineering specific software and other relevant office suites such as Microsoft Office.

  •  CADD experience a plus

  • Civil Structural design a plus
