Construction Management Intern

Eklutna Construction & Maintenance, LLC. Is seeking interns to work at our office located in Eagle River, Alaska.

We are a General Contractor consisting of an energetic team with knowledgeable Project Management staff. This is an exciting opportunity to grow alongside an expanding company in the Construction industry. Types of construction services include: Heavy Civil, Commercial Construction, and Tenant Improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to get exposure to all aspects of construction management from contracting and bidding to remote field management. This position is available to all CM degree seeking applicants. Our goal is to groom interns into full time employees that will join our team.

Duties for an intern would include but are not limited to the following:

·        Performing Quantity Takeoffs

·        Preparing Bid Documents

·        Delivering Bid Packages

·        Performing Value Engineering and other analysis

·        Cost-Coding Invoices

·        Coordinating with Subcontractors

·        Procurement of equipment and materials

·        Preparing and Reviewing Submittals

·        Working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Subcontractors/Suppliers.

·        Other duties as assigned
