The CLAA team takes an interactive role within this global community by serving the vessel during their port call. We are seeking a fulltime, seasonal Logistics Coordinator for our Juneau, Alaska location. This position coordinates, plans, and strategizes how to meet the needs of a ship during their upcoming call. Logistic Coordinators listen and problem solve proactively. This customer service guru communicates effectively and efficiently in the English language (US) and multi-tasks like a pro. They have a strong work ethic and start their shift ready and dressed for success. Logistics Coordinators are forward thinkers and must be detail-oriented and organized as they manage moving parts. ·        Send and respond to communication by way of email, cloud services, cloud requisitioning, fax and phone.

·        Process medical appointments, hotel reservations, freight shipments, deliveries, track medical disembarks, monitor lost luggage, and data entry

·        Source ship stores and spares

·        Coordinate transportation and travel arrangements

·        Coordinate dispatch changes in daily schedule

·        Must be eligible to work in the United States

·        Be at least 18 years of age

·        Some college level education or office work experience

·        Have a valid driver's license

·        Possess experience using email, internet and Microsoft Office programs

·        Independent, self-starter

·        Able to problem solve both individually and collectively as a team

·        Detail oriented and organized

·        Excel in effective communication management

·        Fulltime, seasonal (May through September)

·        Some weekend days may be required
