General Engineer

As a General Engineer, you will:
- Design, initiate, and conduct basic and applied research addressing mining health and safety issues.
- Lead and perform field and laboratory investigations, data collections, and technical assessments aimed at reducing mining-related injuries and fatalities
- Apply engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to develop applied solutions for occupational safety and health challenges.
- Utilize data-analysis methods and tools to accurately analyze, interpret, and communicate engineering and scientific findings.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage research projects to ensure successful completion by collaborating with industry stakeholders, contractors and cross-functional teams to provide relevant results in a timely manner.
