THE OPPORTUNITY
In the AI era, your university major provides the knowledge, but your capability determines your value. When skills are easily automated, success shifts from what you know to how you exercise Structured Judgment and Reliable Execution.
SEE China 2026 is a high-intensity, 30-day future-pathways program designed to give you a decisive competitive advantage. This is not a sightseeing tour; it is a professional field training gauntlet that uses the world’s most dynamic economy as your training ground.
WHY THIS MATTERS:
While most students still focus on theoretical concepts, SEE China fellows will build an elite-level understanding of the physical and systemic infrastructure of the modern world:
- ✔ The supply chains behind AI (The hardware & logistics backbone)
- ✔ The manufacturing infrastructure behind global tech giants
- ✔ The logistics systems powering world commerce
- ✔ How China actually works beyond the headlines
THE FULL GLOBAL CIRCUIT: FIVE CORE HUBS, ONE NARRATIVE
For the first time ever, we have integrated Yiwu to bridge the gap between digital trade and physical reality. You will decode the global engine across five strategic hubs:
- Beijing: Where the system's logic is set. Macro policy, institutions, and the cultural foundation that shapes everything downstream.
- Hangzhou: Where digital trade lives. Platform economy, e-commerce, livestream commerce, and online commerce at global scale.
- Yiwu: Where the physical world moves. The world's largest small-commodities trading hub. A window into global supply chains, cross-border trade, manufacturing-to-export pipelines, and the logistics infrastructure behind everyday goods worldwide.
- Shenzhen: Where the future is built. Hardware innovation, AI manufacturing, robotics, electric vehicles, and the world's densest electronics ecosystem.
- Shanghai: Where it all connects to the world. Finance, capital markets, multinationals, and China's primary global gateway.
Elite Access: Past program access has included Tsinghua, Peking, Fudan, Zhejiang, and Shanghai Jiao Tong universities, as well as industry leaders such as Tencent, Alibaba, Deep Robotics, Xiaomi, and BYD across sectors including AI, robotics, EVs, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and fintech.
DISCIPLINE-SPECIFIC ROTATIONS: HOW YOU WILL BUILD COMPETENCE

- Business, Finance, & Economics: Trace capital flow from Shanghai’s global exchanges to the micro-level traders in Yiwu.
- Supply Chain, Operations, & Logistics: Stress-test your understanding of the physical infrastructure of global commerce in Yiwu.
- Marketing, E-commerce, & Communications: Reverse-engineer platform economies and the livestream commerce revolution in Hangzhou.
- International Relations & Public Policy: Ground academic theory in the institutional logic of Beijing.
