Seasonal Park Ranger
Are you passionate about the outdoors, safety, and serving others? As a Seasonal Park Ranger, you’ll help protect North Dakota’s parks while ensuring visitors have a safe, enjoyable experience. Rangers serve as ambassadors of the park, combining public engagement, resource protection, and rule enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, accurate information on park rules, trails, wildlife, facilities, and recreation.
- Patrol park grounds to promote responsible use and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Respond to emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate with law enforcement or rescue services.
- Support interpretive programs, guided hikes, and educational activities.
- Assist with natural and cultural resource protection efforts.
- Perform routine operations and light maintenance, including trail and facility monitoring.
- Operate park vehicles and equipment safely.
- Document incidents and daily activities accurately.
- Collaborate with park staff to support overall operations and visitor services.
