Position Type:
Temporary, Paid 10-Week Summer Internship
Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Location: On-site – Franklin, Tennessee

Reports To: Sr. Director of Audience Spiritual Engagement  


Position Summary:
The Audience Spiritual Engagement Intern will assist the Digital Ministry team in developing and implementing strategies to foster spiritual engagement through online platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating digital community initiatives, testing new features like prayer groups and journaling, and exploring innovative uses of AI for ministry. Interns will contribute fresh ideas for content and engagement while learning practical methods for digital Kingdom impact. The program culminates in a capstone project potentially focused on effective digital engagement and AI integration.

 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in planning and implementing engagement opportunities and online events for the digital community. 

· Track and evaluate the success of engagement efforts and campaigns. 

· Support the rollout of new features such as prayer groups and journaling tools. 

· Contribute creative ideas for fresh, relevant content to enhance spiritual engagement. 

· Explore and test AI tools for efficiency while maintaining authentic, Spirit-filled connections. 

· Develop threaded stories showcasing how ministry initiatives move audience members closer to Christ. 

· Complete a capstone project analyzing digital engagement strategies and AI applications for the Ministry.



Required Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a related field (Ministry, Digital Media, Communications, Theology, Marketing, etc.). 

· Strong organizational and communication skills. 

· Ability to work on-site in Franklin, TN for the full internship period. 

· Interest in digital ministry, community engagement, and innovative technology solutions.



Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with social media or digital community platforms. 

· Familiarity with AI tools or emerging technologies. 

· Creative mindset and ability to contribute new ideas for engagement and content.



Additional Information:
This internship provides practical experience in digital ministry and audience engagement, offering opportunities to innovate and implement strategies that foster spiritual growth online. Interns will gain exposure to strategic planning, technology integration, and community-building practices while contributing to projects that impact lives for Christ. The internship culminates in a capstone project where you’ll present your work and insights to leadership.
